*mgr will conduct phone screening. If requested for a personal interview after the phone screen, candidates MUST attend a personal interivew in Richmond, VA NO other interview option is available, NO Skype, NO exceptions

QA for Windows 10 upgrade project when available and appropriate and ad-hoc testing activities as needed.

This resource will back fill the day-to-day operational testing tasks while the SCC's QA resource dedicates the bulk of her time to testing tasks of the Windows 10 project. This resource will assist with Windows 10 Upgrade testing when available and appropriate and will also carry out ad-hoc testing activities as needed. This position is responsible for automated testing, test planning, and documentation.

Automated testing tasks include:
Code automated test scripts according to SCC coding standards
Write reusable code by hand coding (not record and play)
Execute test scripts thoroughly and in a timely manner
Reports defect according to division standards
Document defects clearly for both development team and business area to replicate, fix and/or prioritize, as needed
Perform ad hoc testing according to technical knowledge of industry standards and best practices in application design

Test planning tasks include:
Develop test plans for applications, including selecting the appropriate tools, scenarios, entrance and exit criteria and timelines
Participate in application design by ensuring that requirements are written in a way that are testable, clear and follow best practices in application design
Assist business users and Business Analysts in the prioritization of defects and provide recommended solutions as appropriate

Experience in both web-based and client-based application testing Required 4 Years
Ability to clearly document test scenarios and test cases and bugs and issues Required 4 Years
Experience in creating the requirements traceability matrix Required 4 Years
Experience in facilitating user acceptance testing Required 4 Years
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Test Manager & Team Foundation Server Required 4 Years
Experience in testing mainframes Desired 4 Years

Description
Question 1 Absences greater than two weeks MUST be approved by CAI management in advance, and contact information must be provided to CAI so that the resource can be reached during his or her absence. The Client has the right to dismiss the resource if he or she does not return to work by the agreed upon date. Do you accept this requirement?
