Job Description:

ServiceNow is a cloud based application and platform that provides ITSM and other critical IT services. ServiceNow Application Development Consultant will work as part of the integrated team responsible for enhancement, and development of ServiceNow application and related infrastructure.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for consulting service of existing ServiceNow Application Core configuration – navigation, search, UI, manage lists and forms, create/modify business rules and client scripts, activate plugins Core application – build business rules for events and notifications, perform upgrades, manage application security Service administration– create and manage reports, configure Service Level Agreements (SLA) within the tool, create customization and branding for the website. User administration – user access, roles, groups, profiles Data management – manage data with tables and CMDB, manage data with import sets and update sets Consulting on the appropriate configuration and set up of Knowledge Base and Service Catalog. Build and test workflows for Service Catalog
Responsible for develop and enhance the ServiceNow instances that are dedicated to Nissan. Develop web services using java scripts for API's with other applications Develop new features within Nissan instances using XML, workflow, and other related technology and tools Work with Infrastructure, Security, and service providers to conduct proof of concept, design, and implement discovery, service automation, and other related features Work with IS Service Management, Application Management Organization, and other stakeholders to design and develop functions in ServiceNow to support the business needs.
Follow Nissan ITIL processes and procedures, as well as in compliance with SOX and Security policies
Work with SW vendor (ServiceNow) to ensure client get the maximum value for their products and services
Requirements:

A qualified candidate should possess following technical/analytical, and collaborative skill set


Technical/analytical

Expert level knowledge of ServiceNow application and all of it's function modules
Strong experience using java script and/or other script languages to develop applications
Knowledge of Active Directory, SCCM and their integration with ServiceNow
Expert knowledge of ServiceNow technical architecture, especially Mid Server architecture for discovery functionality
Knowledge of Performance Analytics.
Be able to research ServiceNow Wiki and apply the knowledge to the day to day job
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2008/2012, and Windows Server 2008 R2/2012 Enterprise and Standard Editions
Understanding of MS Windows server administration (e.g. MS Exchange 2007 and 2010, MS Windows Server 2008/2012) will benefit the ServiceNow administration
Knowledge of Network Administration, Firewall, VPN, etc.
Possess excellent problem solving skills. Must have technical skills and the ability to understand and interpret technical issues and communicate issues effectively to management and stakeholders, and help team members to trouble shoot and resolve issues

Ability to write clearly and communicate information and ideas. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups and levels.
Ability to listen and appreciate different points of views, and take inputs from all stakeholders and come up with solutions, recommendations, and decisions that are at the best interest of Nissan
