   Responsibilities: Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Senior UNIX/Linux System Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Eagan, MN. This is an on-site position with no telecommute possibilities. This position is part of the Northrop Grumman's ETS Contract with the United States Postal Service, bringing top of the line professional technologists to their teams. You will join the Midrange System Administration teams and provide UNIX / Linux System Administration services for an assigned set of US Government Client applications. The scope includes the full range of system life-cycle phases including, Build, Application /Service Provisioning, Operations and Decommissioning. Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to: o Unix / Linux System Administration. o Installation and maintenance of OS. o Contributor to Incident, Problem and Change Management processes. o User Support / Problem resolution. Prefer: Local to the Eagan, MN area, no relocation assistance provide. HOURS: 5/40 workweek 
 
   Requirements: Candidate must be a US Citizen/Perm Res/Green Card Holder (NO EAD HOLDER) with the ability to obtain Position Of Public Trust Clearance; AND worked in the USA for the last 7 years and verifiable. Please confirm ALL resources have been in the US for at least 5 years and have not been out of the country for more than 6 months or more (total) in the last 5 years. Bachelors Degree and minimum of 6 years' relevant experience. Experience dealing with management of large (>1000 systems) environments. Experience with Linux (SuSE and Red Hat). Have some understanding with configuration management of large environments, utilizing automation tools such as: Chef, Puppet, Ansible or other configuration management frameworks. Ability to take customer requirements and create scalable configuration models to support them. Must have experience with Process Implementation and documentation. Experience using Change/Incident Management tools (ServiceNow). Senior experience in Linux OS Administration. Ability to troubleshoot problems from the Application tier, through the OS and Network tiers. Experience Unix Shell Scripting. Preferred Qualifications: o Expertise with custom AutoYaST and Kickstart deployments. o Expertise with SMT and custom patch solutions for SuSE and Red Hat systems. o Expertise Ansible / Anisible Tower. o Expertise with Cassandra. o Expertise with Oracle CRS (installation/configuration/maintenance). o Experience with Kafka. o Experience with Hadoop. o SOX/PCI Compliance Management.
