Working Hours 8:00 a.m. PT to 5:00 p.m. PT Monday through Friday, except for Federal holidays and closures.
US Citizen Mandatory
Security Clearance Any active public trust clearance is fine for this position. Successful completion/adjudication of a National Agency Check (NAC) and National Agency Check with written Inquiries (NACI) is required.

Job Duties
a. Reviewing and validating payroll in an electronic format, including:
  • Confirming employees are following applicable laws and regulations for time and attendance.
  • Verifying the correct financial coding for hours submitted.
  • Report and communicate status of employee time submitted by deadlines to appropriate managers.
  • Review and validate vouchers authorizations are correct prior to manager approval.
  • This task generally takes place Thursday through Monday, every other week.
b. Official TDY travel related items including:
  • Assist employees with creation of electronic travel authorizations, including transportation and lodging reservations.
  • Review and validate authorizations are correct prior to employee travelling.
  • Assist employees with creation of electronic travel vouchers.
  • Review and validate vouchers authorizations are correct prior to manager approval. This task takes place randomly and intermittently, and happens much more regularly from March to November.
c. Processing documents through the Document Tracking System (DTS)
  • Edit documents for spelling and grammar
  • Assist document authors, editors and signatories with the DTS process. This task takes place regularly throughout a regular workweek.

Qualification:
  • Must possess tact and diplomacy with a variety of contacts (internal and external clients).
  • Must have a proficient working knowledge of photocopying and facsimile machines, and personal computer equipment.
  • Must be fully competent with word processing and the Microsoft Office (MS) suite of programs.
  • Must readily adjust to new or changing work assignments, frequent interruptions and changes to methods of operation, able to multi-task, be detail oriented, and maintain a professional attitude.

Experience:
  • At least 2 to 3years of relevant experience which is closely related to the work and skills outlined above.
  • Minimum Training/Education: High School diploma (or equivalent) is required.
  • Experience of handling customers, payroll, travel authorization, voucher processing, document editing and processing.
