Hours/week: 40 – will be potential for OT if hired in

Shift : Will be trained on 1st shift for 1-2 weeks (6:00am-2:30pm) Shifts may vary after that

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have a working knowledge of maintenance, electronic/electrical power and control systems, and/or demonstrate sufficient training and experience in electronic/electrical power and control systems.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years industrial electrical/electronics/process control experience.
• Must have a high degree of competency in the use of programmable logic controllers for machine/process controls and troubleshooting.
• Must have a thorough understanding of the use and operation of process variable sensing elements (RTD's, thermocouples, transducers, humidity/moisture meters, photoelectric sensors, etc.) and be able to apply them to manufacturing environment.
• Must have the ability to configure and calibrate all forms of electrical, electronic, and pneumatic process equipment.
• Must have the ability to communicate technical information so as to improve the skills of the plant electricians.
• Must have a working knowledge of electrical installation and construction.
• Must have a high degree of competency in the application of both AC/DC motor drives.
• Must have knowledge of robotic systems configuration, operation, and programming
• Must have instrumentation skills with analog/digital conversion and set-up
• Using ultra-sonic tool, identify equipment degradation, (bearings, gearboxes, and motor)
• Establish weekly routes to inspect and identify plant equipment to bring back to base condition
• Establish weekly routes to inspect and identify air leaks in facility
• Establish vibration data baseline on equipment to track component degradation using the CBM software
• Establish temperature data baseline on equipment to track component degradation using the CBM software
• Must be willing to train self and others in problem solving/troubleshooting of electronic/electrical circuitries.
• Must have the ability and initiative to lead and participate in plant problem solving teams.
• Person must have knowledge of or be willing and able to train in Maintenance Systems, computer skills, lubricants and lubricating systems, and new technologies in predictive maintenance.
• Must be able to maintain and operate production line equipment in all plant's department.
• Must be able to apply problem-solving techniques, communicate effectively, demonstrate leadership, and plan effectively.
• Person must have knowledge of or be willing and able to train in CMMS, computer skills.
• Must be able to apply problem-solving techniques, communicate effectively, demonstrate leadership, and plan effectively.
• Must be willing to train self and others in problem solving/troubleshooting.
• Background in industrial, mechanical, electrical, computer systems. Must be willing to upgrade skills in areas where skills are not at the required level.

• Must have a working knowledge of electrical installation and construction.
• Must have a high degree of competency in the application of both AC/DC motor drives, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics systems. .
• Will be required to pass job qualification criteria for position that includes, but is not limited to, mechanical knowledClient, customer survey and shop equipment.
• Must have and maintain a good attendance record.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: After company sponsored training, the employee must:
• Maintain and troubleshoot all production line equipment associated within the Department to prevent and/or correct mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
• Must have a working knowledge of all plant's controls related hardware; including PLC (Control Logix 5, 500,
· and 5000), VFD (Powerflex 4, 40, 70, and 700), and all I/0 sensing and safety hardware.
• Must have a working knowledge of communication protocol (Ethernet communication, Devicenet, Controlnet and Data Highway)
• Cross train on all lines in department/area of responsibility.
All work for area is coordinated through area leads to assist line tech's to get equipment up and running in a timely manner.
• Assist process leads/supervisor in the identification of operator skill gaps and provide possible solutions.
• Develop and administer controls related training for the maintenance technicians in the Suffolk plant.
• Support and solve complex issues that exceed the everyday scope of the maintenance group.
• Research and supply alterative solutions for discontinued and end of life parts that will cause unexpected downtime if gone unchecked.
• Support plant high performance culture and continuous improvement programs through active participation in plant productivity programs.
• Comply and actively participate in all safety and environmental policies, procedures and programs. May serve on QRMP team.
• Comply with all QCMS program requirements including HACCP and GMPs.
• Perform area housekeeping duties.
• Perform all tasks as assigned by supervisor.
