Job Duties
  • Manage the building access control security system with responsibility of granting employees access by inputting employee information in the new Lenel OnGuard security system at Headquarters.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the access badge system by keeping the system updated with new employee enrollment or deleting employee records from the system that leave the agency for all of EOIR nationwide.
  • Assist with credit card purchases and ensure the information is correctly inputted and processed into the UFMS.
  • Assist specialist in ordering security equipment or security services for the courts nationwide and input information correctly into the UFMS.
  • Use the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) system to enter data for the retrieval of criminal history reports for EOIR short-term visitor and vendors and provide the reports to/from Personnel Security Specialists.
  • Assist specialist in ordering security equipment or security services for the courts nationwide and input information correctly into the UFMS.
  • Perform receptionist duties for the Office of Security: Greet visitors to the Office of Security (OS) and assist in routing them to the personnel with the Office to address their needs; answer the phone and take messages; respond to general email messages to the OS and route messages to OS personnel; handle correspondence.
  • Provide administrative support to the OS; scheduling meetings in EOIR conference rooms; typing documents; producing copies of OS documents; ordering and distributing office supplies. Assisting in filing documents and sending receiving mail, including parcels.
  • Performs other related duties as needed in support of the Office of Security.
