Desktop Support Technicians
Responsibilities
  • Provide coverage to the Information Technology Help Desk and Desktop Support Teams
  • Receive and Responds to telephone, walk-in, e-mail and self-services requests in a courteous and professional manner
  • Assist in troubleshooting installations of Office 365
  • Applies standard principles, concepts, and techniques toward the identification and resolution of user problems with a high level of detail and accuracy

Required Qualifications:
  • Related college courses or technical training
  • 2 years of related experience in Desktop Support
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Basic Troubleshooting for Windows and/or Mac Operating Systems
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software technologies
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to accurately follow guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Ability to perform a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal supervision or direction
  • Ability to travel to off-site locations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • ServiceNow experience
  • Large scale Office 365 deployments through SCCM/Casper

Project Summary
Client requires Desktop Support Technicians to support the Customer Service Department with account creations and customer support. It is anticipated that the services will be needed for a period of approximately three (3) months and will be located in Shrewsbury and Worcester, MA. Travel to other UMMS sites may be necessary.
