The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) House Information Resources (HIR) Enterprise Operations (EO) Directorate is seeking a systems administrator specializing in e-mail administration and customer support to support EO's Messaging Team. This Statement of Work establishes the contractors level of effort for services to provide system administration and expertise for the U.S. House of Representatives (House) enterprise messaging systems.

Job Duties
  • Assist EO (earth observation) with system administration activities like mailbox malware remediation, supporting message filtering operations, general e-mail customer support and messaging system administration
  • Provide Exchange administrative support
  • Customer support for message filtering questions
  • Customer support describing bulk mail best practices
  • User acceptance testing on technology projects
  • Provide phone and email customer support
  • Effective communication, both orally and in writing with senior staff, information systems professionals, and the non-technical user community

Experience and Skills
  • Should have a High-level understanding of email terminology, technology, and routing.
  • Should have a Knowledge of Proofpoint Enterprise Protection (including Targeted Attack Protection), Send mail MTA, and Return Path tools.
  • Should have an experience in enterprise environment.
  • Experience in Exchange administrative tools
  • Should have one-year experience in PowerShell
  • Experience operating as part of a larger customer support and/or service desk.
  • Should have one-year experience Splunk
