Perform Core JMS Messaging components programming, configuration, global and local project environment variable configurations, performance tuning, monitoring and troubleshooting for a local scalable-to-enterprise messaging service. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equiv. enterprise experience. Senior level experience in Java, JMS, and MQ series, Open MQ etc (? 5 years) Must have personally coded/implemented a high volume JMS messaging system. Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL. Commercial experience in the development of real time, multi-threaded applications. Experience with industry messaging middleware (e.g. 29West, IBM LLM, IBM MQ Series, Tibco) Commercial experience in the development of network level software Experience with various Java APIs (e.g. JMX, JDBC, JMS) Experience with industry messaging middleware (e.g. 29West, IBM LLM, IBM MQ Series, Tibco) Knowledgeable of data warehouse design, automation and Implementation at an Enterprise level helpful. Strong problem solving skills. Excellent leadership capabilities, and communication and documentation skills Candidate should have familiarity Unix and shell scripting languages such as Ksh93, able to work with and modify existing scripts with minimal assistance or supervision. Ability to be proactive and work well under pressure. Helpful: Web services, XML, SOAP Capable of programming both asynchronous and synchronous messaging queues. Identify, monitor, recommend, POC and build JMS modules for automation, status and reporting runtime functionality, ensuring satisfactory response time with reliable database connectivity/and or system command interfaces. Modify Unix or PL/SQL scripts, Unix Shell Scripts (ksh on AIX or equiv), for automation in an Linux/AIX/Oracle environment, including interfaces to other systems, control tables, logging, etc. Oracle forms the database layer, Unix file system acts as additional queue backup. Involvement and contribution to complex Schedules (Tivoli) , set priorities and implement action plans. Implement best practices on local messaging service with projected implementations interfacing with ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) messaging. Facilitates knowledge transfer and mentors other team members. Ability to analyze and resolve JMS/MQ/Open MQ issues related to automation including but not limited to: performance, capacity issues, and other distributed data issues. Strong knowledge of recovery and restart procedures and for messaging services including database and Unix file system level recovery on an automated startup basis. Understanding and familiarity with creating Unix level user roles, directories, permissions and other tasks relating to users, connectivity, configuration and file transfers.

Consulting Data Analyst - Int Under close supervision, this position exists to assist the organization in making strategic data-related decisions by analyzing, manipulating, tracking, internally managing and reporting data. This position functions both as an analyst and as a statistical analytics programmer. Essential Functions: • Designs and enhances databases. Designs menu systems that are effective and user-friendly. Develops reports with accurate, easy to read, useful information. Designs and generates tracking and monitoring tools. • Participates in the development of outcomes and process measures, including technical specifications, to enable population measurement, guideline implementation, and evaluation. • Maintains complex statistical routines using macros, vendor software, and software written by self and others. Tests and maintains data integrity. • KP conducts compensation reviews of positions on a routine basis. Basic Experience: • Three (3) year of programming in SAS (or R), SQL, VBA; net or equivalent statistical analytical programming language. • Two (2) or more years' experience of related analytical consulting experience Additional: • Microsoft Office skills required. • Strong ability to apply analytic and critical thinking skills, writing skills, communication skills, consulting skills, and ability to work within a team. • Must be an independent self-starter. • Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment. Education • Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, health care administration, public health administration, statistics, mathematics, operations research, or related field required OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field. • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required. Additional: • Experience with analytical manipulation and interpretation of large databases. • Analytical consulting experience. • Project management experience. • Experience with MVS/TSO operating systems. Preferred Qualifications: • Healthcare industry experience preferred • Knowledge of JCL strongly preferred. • SAS Macro Language experience preferred. • Crystal Reporting experience preferred.
