Electrical Engineer
As an Electrical Engineer for the international program, EADGE-T, the candidate must perform the electrical design and development (including distribution, cabling and installation) of medium and high voltage systems for Deployable Tactical Shelters and Communications On-The-Move (COTM) systems used in austere military environments. The candidate must have experience with design tools like AutoCAD. The candidate must also have experience with installation and fielding. The candidate must be a self-starter, working under minimal guidance, and be creative in seeking solutions to various technical challenges. Depending on the project phase and requirements, personnel may be required to work hours and days corresponding to this Middle East customer's work schedule. The candidate must be willing to travel to Middle East and within the USA

REQUIRED: Specifically, the position requires the following skills, abilities and experience:
  1. Design and document ruggedized mobile power distribution systems with AC and/or DC power sources Design and document ruggedized mobile power-entry-panel (PEP) and signal-entry-panel (SEP) layouts with appropriate connectors
  2. Design and document interior and exterior power and signal (copper/fiber) cables by selecting appropriate gauged wire and connectors
  3. Design and document top-of-rack (TOR) patch panels
  4. Design and document power control panel for management of power distribution
  5. Design and document proper grounding schemes for ruggedized mobile equipment
  6. Selection of required parts, components and assemblies
  7. Support assembly, installation and testing of power distribution units, power control panel, PEPs, SEPS, and cabling into ruggedized mobile assets.
  8. Experience with the design of electrical power systems
  9. Experience with creation of electrical wiring and schematic drawings
  10. Experience with power and signal cabling and installation
  11. Ability to work in a manufacturing and laboratory environment
  12. Excellent testing and troubleshooting skills
  13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  14. Experience with MS Office suite

DESIRED:
  1. Experience in Electrical Engineering life cycle, and hands on experience with installation and troubleshooting of medium and large AC and DC power systems.
  2. Knowledge of hardware document control experience in Electrical Engineering like power analysis, power and signal cabling, etc.
