We are seeking an experienced Event Project Manager to drive strategic events. Outreach programs and resources: Drive awareness of our world class research; Create profile and engagement opportunities for our researchers; Facilitate research through collaboration; Help identify, attract, and retain great research talent.
This role requires working closely and effectively across a diverse group of stakeholders within the organization and with our partners to plan and execute events. 

  • Own all planning and execution for multiple first party events
  • Organize research stakeholders and lead team meetings
  • Understand researchers’ event objectives and help design an event to best meet these objectives
  • Manage hotel room blocks, catering, Lyft codes, badge printing, signage, and all logistics for the event
  • Leverage best practices and assess impact on an ongoing basis to evolve strategy and tactics to maximize ROI.
  • Analyze opportunities, manage budget, and present recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.

  • Technical Acumen – You should have a probing nature to understand and work collaboratively with a diverse group of researchers, scientists and engineers
Basic Qualifications: 
  • 5 years of experience of exceptional project management and organizational skills including creating and maintaining master project and program plans, marketing and communications plans, managing to a budget and schedule, and tracking and mitigating risks.
  • Ability to travel approximately six times a year.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Top 3 Skills:
  • Previous event management experience (securing venues, ordering caterings, managing registration, etc.)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
