Desktop Support Technician I - A+

For this Desktop Support Tech position, we need a strong computer professional who is able to prioritize the workload and maintain a positive relationship with various personalities.
 
Top Must-Haves:
  1. 2 years of experience
  2. CompTIA A+ certification
  3. Multitasking skills
  4. Troubleshooting skills
Overview:
  • Provides 2nd level support to desktop team
  • Diagnoses and resolves PC technical issues
  • Records, tracks, escalates, and updates events through established systems
  • Sets up and configures standard PC and laptop devices
  • Provides application installation / troubleshooting
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience and A+ certification required
  • Experience in a dedicated corporate desktop support role
  • Advanced knowledge of all current Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
  • Good understanding of Active Directory, Altiris, and SCCM
  • Microsoft Office Support – ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with a focus on Word, Excel (advanced functions) and Outlook
  • Cloud technologies (Office 360, One Drive, etc.)
  • Support of Common-Off-the-Shelf Products (COTS)
  • Operating System configuration experience on various peripheral computer equipment, dual monitors, multi-function network printers, etc.
  • Conference room troubleshooting and support experience
  • Ability to converse and communicate appropriately with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and behavior
  • Strong customer service skills including written and verbal communications
  • Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated (a strong work ethic)
