The Desktop Support Technician will provide customer support of business equipment in a variety of working environments.
 
Requirements:
  • Provide Operating System support
  • Windows 10 Standard client supported images
  • Provide Best Effort Support for Non-Standard Infrastructure (PCs, Benchtops, Laptops, Handhelds, Scanners and other end-user devices) in manufacturing, laboratories, and warehouse areas
  • Manage the ServiceCenter queue and work assigned ticket(s) to resolution, according to the priority level, and resolve issues in accordance with the defined SLAs
  • Provide in-scope software support
  • Perform maintenance of the CMDB and stockroom inventory
  • Provide Lenovo break-fix hardware repairs
  • In-warranty
    • Manage Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranty process
    • Lenovo - OEM Warranty support
  • Out-of-warranty: provide quotes and replacement parts upon approval
  • Work with the Digital Platform teams and escalate tickets as necessary
  • Provide Infrastructure "Hands and Eye” support
    • Network Closets
    • Local Servers
