Supply Chain and Capacity Planning Project Manager

Our world-renowned client is looking for individuals with supply chain and capacity planning expertise to join its dynamic capacity execution planning team. The candidate must be proficient in capacity planning for infrastructure and have a proven track record of data driven analysis and root cause solutioning. We are looking for a combination of both strong analytical thinking as well as project management experience. Additionally, daily operational tasks will require a strong attention to detail to manage a high volume of change execution rapidly and accurately.
 
Top Skills:
  • STRONG experience in capacity planning preferably with infrastructure
  • Understanding and application of key inventory management concepts, safety stock, buffers, forecasting accuracy, plan accuracy
  • Exceptional Excel skills managing large amounts of data
  • STRONG ability to leverage data and Power BI to analyze scenarios and develop appropriate mitigation
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Capacity Execution plan accuracy and timeliness
  • Identify Plan risk and develop and drive mitigation
  • Interface with teams across the organization including deployment, Data Center management, hardware supply management, and networking to manage and reconcile all issues related to server capacity deployment
  • Drive root cause and corrective actions to close out exceptions arising from plan change
  • Ensure Plan compliance with planning policy

Experience / Qualifications:
  • Experience in supply chain planning or transaction management, preferably with infrastructure
  • Understanding and application of key inventory management concepts

  • Ability to leverage SQL databases and Power BI to create and manage the short-term plan
