Windows 10 Deployment Technician

Our client is a high-visibility tech corporation seeking a Windows 10 Deployment Technician for an Operating Systems upgrade project in Houston.
 
Hours: M-F, 4:00PM-12:30AM, Second Shift.
 
Overview:
  • Complete preliminary training on the client provided Windows 10 upgrade process for laptop computers
  • Receive laptops from the user at a predefined location at each site based on the client PM agreed-to managed schedule on a site by site basis 
  • For workstation computers, complete upgrades onsite at the current installed location of the workstation 
  • Back up mutually agreed data and settings 
  • Install Windows 10 per customer's "bare metal” deployment process 
  • Restore agreed data settings
  • Install up to five (5) secondary applications using the client’s software deployment processes 
  • Execute mutually agreed quality assurance (QA) process
  • For laptop computers, return laptop to predefined location and notify the designated project manager that the upgrade is complete and that the user may pick up the laptop at the location
  • For workstation computers, notify the project manager that the upgrade is complete
  • Provide mutually agreed "day after” support, as required
