Deskside Support Technician III

We’re currently seeking a Deskside Support Technician III who will provide hardware / software support for end users and provide remote support when required. 
 
Overview:
  • Hardware break-fix on Dell laptops and desktops
  • IMAC support
  • General User Requests
  • AV Conferencing Support- Polycom AV systems Desktop Phone Administration & Configuration
  • Cisco phones Depot
  • Support Legacy Application Account Administration
  • Deskside Software Support
  • Production Support
  • Executive Support
Essential Tasks:
  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems
  • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups
  • Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
  • Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs
  • Relies on instructions and established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
  • Works under immediate supervision
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • A+ certification preferred
  • Dell Laptop/ Desktop Warranty  certification preferred
  • Break-fix experience needed
  • Knowledge of commonly-used tech support concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Primary job functions typically carried out under direction of a project leader or manager
  • May require an Associate's Degree or equivalent
  • Great communication skills
  • High technical aptitude
  • Professional and driven individual that will go above and beyond to support our client
  • Mon-Fri 8am-5pm ; occasional overtime may be required
