Essential Functions:
  • Medical / Healthcare school campus environment
  • Deskside support including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of related hardware and software problems
  • Printer support including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair
  • Hardware break-fix support (PC, MAC, printers)
  • IMAC support
  • Deskside support: Axium and MiPacs, iPhone and associated applications, Virus / Malware Applications, Encryption, Microsoft Office & Outlook (PC and MAC), Operating Systems, Wired / Wireless Connectivity Data back-ups / Restores, PC TV Tuners
  • Configuration support (technology; camera systems)
  • Active Directory maintenance as required
  • Windows Registry configuration as required
  • Installation of applications, verification and updating licenses as applicable, verification and hardware compatibility
  • Work in compliance with UTHSC management approvals and HIPAA Policies
  • Cable Management
  • Asset Management (manage Inventory Database for all hardware)
  • Manage external flash drive console
  • Deployments, migrations, and upgrades as part of the IT team
Minimum Requirements:
  • CompTIA A+ required
  • Experience supporting desktops, laptops, and printers
  • Customer service experience
  • Interpersonal skills, as they will be interacting with a wide range of users and environments
  • Ability to work weekends, staggered or late shifts, possibly including evenings and/or weekends
Basic Needs / Haves:
  • Ability to work from a bent, crouched, or kneeled position
  • Ability to work on a ladder or lift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Smartphone with tethering / hotspot capabilities
  • Laptop and basic hand tools
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (driving position – reimbursed accordingly)
  • OEM Printer Warranty Certifications
  • OEM Laptop / Desktop Warranty Certifications
  • Server experience a plus
