We are in search of a business and technically savvy, trusted cloud entrepreneur to join our Sales team as a Partner Development Director. You will lead and represent sales efforts to Partners in the East Region. You are passionate about driving business results, growing mindshare, and delivering strong value to partners and channels. You are equally excited about learning and teaching. In this key role, you define the success of business growth and its supported partners.

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Engagement: develop, grow, and broaden the business with partners
    • Consistently deliver strong partner sales results
    • Identify and solve for business development opportunities
    • Be a trusted, consultative voice that makes valuable contributions to each partner
  • Evangelism: be the face of the company and reinforce the strength of the brand
    • Engage with channel Partners and foster relationships
    • Improve awareness and influence strategic decisions
    • Speak at industry events and present on webinars
  • Stewardship: ensure that partners' expectations are consistently exceeded
    • Actively identify and resolve potential blockers
    • Provide a credible perspective for sales and marketing decisions
    • Share validated practices around technology processes
  • Leadership: continually improve how successful the brand can be
    • Forecast, develop, and continually refine sales efforts
    • Incorporate emerging trends and opportunities into tactics and plans
    • Refine marketing campaigns for optimum regional results
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years' experience working with Microsoft or distributor cloud sales and technical enablement teams
  • 2+ years of sales experience in the business software and/or IT industry
  • Familiarity with reseller partners, cloud business models, and emerging software channel trends
  • Must be an agile and reliable teammate with strong sales, marketing, and overall communications skills (including verbal, presentation, and written)
  • Leadership and successful execution experience in building and growing a Cloud MSP practice
  • Experience designing, selling, and delivering solutions and services based upon Office 365 and Azure
  • Some travel, both within the region and occasionally to Seattle required
  • Ability to influencing C-level and sales / marketing executives, technology decision-makers, and front-line engineers
