eXcell,™ a division of CompuCom Systems, Inc. is a highly innovative staffing company seeking a candidate to assist their HR Onboarding Department in carrying out various programs and procedures in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

This is a Level 1 Contract to Hire position.

The Human Resources Assistant uses basic processes, concepts, and skills that apply to company policies and work procedures to support a dynamic IT Recruiting Environment. Solves routine problems within a limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Generally requires instructions concerning work. May work independently within established guidelines as well as within a group setting.
 
Excellent customer service skills and the commitment to interact with both internal and external business associates in a professional manner at all times will be key to success in this position.

In addition, this position requires a strong ability to prioritize and multi-task while maintaining a high level of quality. As a member of the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) team; compliance with HIPAA rules and the ability to maintain confidential information are required.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides administrative support to HR Onboarding team including but not limited to: organizing and maintaining files, generating offer letters and employment agreements, setting up and completing I-9 procedures, meeting coordination and assembly of meeting materials, ensure employees gain an understanding of benefit plans and enrollment provision
  • Writes, revises, edits, and proofreads company policies and procedures and related documentation, as needed
  • Acts as a liaison with recruiters and other managers regarding the onboarding process
  • Processes employee changes; including but not limited to benefits, promotions, and emergency contacts
  • Maintains Human Resources Information System records and compiles reports from database, data entry
  • Handles confidential information with integrity
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning onboarding and employment practices
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned
  • Performs on-site facility requirements as needed
  • Infrequent light physical effort
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of related work experience, some college preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Data entry and intermediate excel spreadsheet experience preferred
  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft Suite and have an aptitude for learning new technologies and systems
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills required
