Senior Java Developer - Full Stack

The Senior Java Developer is a key role on a collaborative project team, responsible for the design and production of mission critical, enterprise-scale business systems. The Senior Java Developer is well versed in the technical and interpersonal skills needed to lead, coach and mentor development teams.
The ideal candidate would be passionate about being on the forefront of new technology. This group is part of the Training and Innovation team. Responsible for searching out ways to update and upgrade existing the technology stack. Ongoing education and paid training is available. Innovation is highly encouraged!
This person serves as the liaison between the business team and the technology team. They will help the business team communicate their needs to the technology team, and they will help set priorities and explain the cost and time in implementation or proposed ideas.
The ideal candidate must have a passion for mentoring. This person will be the most senior person on the team. They will be tasked with assisting junior developers and answering questions from the team, performing code reviews, and providing process improvement solutions. The Senior Java Developer will assist in evaluating the practices and provide solutions for design.
  • 4-5 years Java experience
  • Solid communication skills to interact with the business team and technology team
  • Must show 1-2 years (minimum) on a specific project and what role they played on the team
  • Object-oriented analysis and design
  • Object-oriented programming and component-based development with Java
  • Enterprise software development and leadership experience
  • Customer service-oriented attitude, top-notch time management, and quality driven designs
  • Experience with Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS, SQL, XML, JMS, Linux operating systems, relational and document-oriented databases
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies
  • Stability in previous positions
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work history
