The Desktop Support Tech in this position uses a confident, positive attitude to deliver great customer experiences and to be invigorated by constant personal interaction.  

Work schedule will be Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM with on-call rotation.

Overview:
  • Providing desktop support to a manufacturing facility with multiple building on campus
  • Solve a broad range of day-to-day onsite technical issues on network infrastructure and internal desktop systems
  • Customize communication, instructions, and product knowledge to the level of the individual
  • Determine the most cost-effective repair to minimize customer downtime
  • Prepare reports for analysis
  • Experience supporting PC hardware and software, server and network equipment; as well as server application support and monitoring
Qualifications:
  • Customer support experience required
  • 3-5 years of previous desktop support experience working from a ticket management system
  • Good communication skills
  • Must have work experience of server, application, and network support within an enterprise
  • AA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products
  • Ability to transform technical IT language into terms everyone understands
  • Relatable with customers and impeccable with follow-through
