The IT Technology Analyst in this premium position will provide mid-level support.
  • Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows server and desktop systems, VMware infrastructure components, and associated data center hardware and software infrastructure
  • Maintain and manage data center infrastructure including administration of Windows servers, physical and virtual desktop environment and backup system
  • Ensure that all servers, desktops, and laptops conform to standard system configurations and that all appropriate system backups and verification are functioning
  • Provide second level troubleshooting and support as triaged by the Help Desk
  • Apply security patches and updates to improve server efficiency documentation and system images are up to date and ensure initiation, reliability, and security
  • Work with internal stakeholders on existing IT systems, upgrades, and integrations
  • Working hours are equivalent to a 40-hour workweek: Monday-Friday (8 am to 5 pm), but some off-hours support will occasionally be required to handle staff request and schedule conflicts
  • Requires hands-on experience with Windows OS environments, VMWare, and Nutanix software
  • Knowledge and experience with MS Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and GPO
  • Ability to identify problems and perform root cause analysis to ensure problems are resolved and document the resolutions for less senior staff
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and adapt to changes in priorities, work assignments, and other interactions
  • Ability to work independently on projects or assignments without close supervision or detailed instruction
  • Strong analytical skills

  • Friendly presence and helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others
  • Duties involve carrying boxes up to 50 lbs. and occasional driving of client vehicles to various remote locations – driver training course required
