We’re currently in the market for a Field Service Tech to perform break-fix work in Nashville, including for printers, routers, and switches.
Hours are M-F, 9am to 6pm, plus overtime.
  • This is a driving position which requires a DMV background check to be completed
  • Use of reliable, personal vehicle required – miles reimbursed according to CompuCom policy
  • Must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs desktops, laptops, servers, and printers
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems
  • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups
  • Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
  • Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs
  • Relies on instructions and established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
  • Works under general supervision
Required Qualifications:
  • Break-fix printer skills required
  • 1 to 3 years of break-fix experience supporting desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and network switches and routers
  • 1 to 3 years of customer service experience required
  • Knowledge of commonly-used tech support concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Interpersonal skills needed to interact with a wide range of users and environments
  • Primary job functions typically carried out under direction of a project leader or manager
  • May require an Associate Degree or equivalent
