The Senior Strategy Analysist would research IT employee development needs, analyze the as-is state of current business and technology architecture including stakeholder interviews and review of available content, e-learning tools, and planned or purchased on-site delivery of targeted training.
Individual will be responsible for rollout plan, including but not limited to:
  • Meeting with sponsors and key influencers of the initiative
  • Formulating primary program goals and strategies
  • Developing the framework and roadmaps including resource requirements
  • Driving the planning processes necessary to launch the program
  • Identifying key milestones and staffing requirements along with staff ramp up recommendations
  • Identifying gaps, constraints and opportunities
  • Analysis of employee development plans as they relate to learning goals, identifying misalignments and urgent needs
  • Development of plans to integrate platforms and systems, data and information, processes and roles, priorities, and the care and feeding of the IT Knowledge Plan and Framework
  • Benefits analysis and communications with stakeholders
  • Championing the project vision throughout the organization
Typical Tasks:
  • Links organization-wide strategy across departments to create an IT roadmap with a view for long-term vision
  • Leads the development of new strategy practice tools and processes
  • Fosters a creative framework that expands rapid learning and a bias for action
  • Directs research and case studies on leading edge technologies and makes determinations on
  • the probability of implementation
  • Stays abreast of and adopts, as appropriate, new technologies, new innovation processes, and enables an engaged, entrepreneurial environment
  • Establishes robust market research techniques to enable timely evaluation of new opportunities
  • Plans long-term services portfolio, governance, and change roadmap in line with business strategies
  • Shapes the IT vision and strategy for innovation with a focus on keeping the organization on the forefront of change
  • Provides IT with a robust technology strategy and roadmap that is aligned with strategy business and technology priorities
  • Develops customer technology strategies and roadmaps; translates business strategy into features and solutions
  • Negotiates and influences business and IT leaders on product technology and service objectives that have organization-wide impact
  • Establishes key metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure goals
  • Monitors and evaluates technology initiatives for progress toward business goals
  • Determines portfolio objectives and key specifications
  • Oversees the execution of balanced innovation roadmap by monitoring key projects or milestones and informing stakeholders of roadmap progress
  • Researches products, services, competitive landscape and current strategies to identify new opportunities and trends in the information technology
  • Recommends key concepts, features, and fundamental technology used for new products or improvements to existing ones
  • Creates, captures, manages, and shares information
  • May be assigned as a Disaster Service Worker, as required
  • Performs other related duties, as required
Training and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis or a related discipline,
  • and
  • Ten (10) years of experience in managing innovative, technical cross functional teams within Business Development, Portfolio Management or Strategy Planning focus areas
  • of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
  • and
  • Twelve (12) years of experience in managing innovative, technical cross functional teams within Business Development, Portfolio Management or Strategy Planning focus areas
  • Master's degree in a related field preferred
