Job Description:
Strong, hands-on Software Engineer with experience working in an agile team developing web applications. The Digital team is looking for collaborative and creative associates that thrive in a team environment, creating solutions for challenging customer-driven business needs. Your focus will be Enterprise Building Management and Facility Management web applications that manage all aspects of our customers' buildings--with a particular focus on dashboards and data visualization.

Responsibilities:  
  • You will work on the inception phase of projects, including collecting requirements, suggesting methodologies and technologies, and release planning.
  • Active researcher, keeping up with the latest trends in software development.
  • Influence and strengthen agile development culture.
  • Apply industry's best practices and encourage your teammates to do the same.
  • Design and implement front-end software components and applications to spec.
  • Apply and promote testing methodologies to promote robust, quality code.
  • Design, implement, and support cloud-based solutions and applications.
  • Effectively collaborate with a cross-functional, international development team.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline required. 
  • 2 plus years of web development experience required.
  • Skilled with browsers and related technologies: JavaScript/ES6, DOM/HTML5 & CSS3.
  • Real-world experience using component-based JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, Vue.js, AngularJS, etc. One year of React experience is preferred.
  • Experience using RESTful APIs.
  • Experience in new product and agile development.
  • Experience architecting and coding large-scale customer-facing applications for the web preferred.
  • Experience developing applications using TDD preferred.
