Job Description:
Datascope Select is currently seeking qualified candidates to join their development team as a Software Developer. Your work will center on bringing a multi-year project over the finish line. DataScope Select is an enterprise application running on a large and diverse platform. This project is to update the monitoring and alerting around application performance and the servers it runs on. Ruby and RSpec are the key technologies. Some exposure to Puppet, Sensu, NxLog, and GIT will be helpful. In this role you’ll be interacting frequently with members of the DataScope Select 2nd level Operations team to prioritize and address items needed to complete the project. Ideal candidates should be familiar with Linux, Agile development philosophies, and build pipelines. Solid written and verbal communication skills are a big plus, as are critical thinking capabilities.

Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Music preferred. 
  • 5+ years of related experience 
  • DataScope Select (DSS) is Refinitiv’s strategic data delivery platform for non-streaming financial content.
  • The platform is a full cross-asset offering with intelligently linked data for Refinitiv content including Reference Data, Corporate Actions, Legal Entity Data, End-of-Day/Intra-Day Pricing, Evaluated Pricing Services, News, and much more.
  • The platform is built on the cornerstones of high reliability, high performance and customer convenience.
  • Customers can use a Web GUI, FTP, REST API, and SOAP API to interact with DataScope Select.
