We are currently seeking a Learning and Development Specialist. The Learning and Development Specialist will be responsible for consulting with leadership to identify gaps in performance and behaviors, and define and execute learning solutions to meet the priorities and needs of the Project Delivery (including Project Managers of all levels Scrum Masters and Business Analysts) and Portfolio Management, Execution Assurance and Reporting Organizations specifically, as well as more global learning solutions in general. The individual will work directly with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to design, develop and facilitate effective learning and development solutions which support the strategic priorities of the Project Delivery and Portfolio Management, Execution Assurance and Reporting capabilities.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Define: Consult with leadership, business partners and IT partners for critical education needs; to identify gaps in performance and behavior and to define learning solutions Build learning solutions designed to meet organizational goals and priorities. Utilize design documents, storyboards, and implement best practices in adult learning theory. Leverage innovative learning methodology and technology to engage participants, deliver content and increase the overall effectiveness of learning. Complete pilot test and calibrate to achieve program objectives.. Develop procedures to train trainers and learners on course curriculum, learning outcomes and method of delivery. Facilitate training to establish additional SME's that support the implementation of learning solutions.
  • Deliver: Deliver engaging learning and development programs incorporating adult learning principles. Ensure relevance, consistency, and quality of programs through the learner-focused delivery of content and training materials. Serve as subject matter expert regarding curriculum and real-life applications to maximize the learning experience. Provide a safe working environment through effective facilitator/participant relationship building. Work with collaborative partners to ensure learning application and behavioral modification to achieve desired results. Manage implementation of learning programs, materials, facilities, invitation process, feedback, marketing, and other logistical components necessary to run a training program.
  • Evaluate: Evaluate the design of program throughout the implementation process. Develop, implement and maintain measurement and evaluation strategies to assess efficiency and effectiveness of learning solution on performance and behavior. Show alignment to goals as well as WMTS and Project goals. Design and develop a change to learning solution based on evaluation results. Support individual and team growth and development through talent assessments, 360 feedback, IDP creation, learning activity and resource identification.

Education:
Bachelor's degree
 
Training requirements preferred: Professional Certifications preferred: o Executive coaching
  • Facilitator certification
  • Project Management certification

Knowledge and skills:
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills
  • Working knowledge of Instructional Systems Design methodology
  • Handle multiple projects and demonstrate strong project management skills Be a strong self-starter and adapt to ever-changing priorities and demands

Technical Skills:
Advanced PC skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Skills in MS SharePoint, Planview and WebEx preferred
 
Job Experience:
2+ years of needs analysis and design and development of course material 3-5 years focused on leadership development and team effectiveness
3-5 years training, facilitating and coaching Project management experience
