You will work on testing of a mobile application platfrom at our client.
They have a diverse, collaborative and open environment where the teams are focused on building, testing and delivering features that delight their customers.
They create thousands of customer apps a year and have millions of downloads in both the Apple and Google app stores.

This firm is very culture centric and your attitude and aptitude is just as important as the specific tools and technologies you have used in the past.
As a Quality Engineer will not only be an individual contributor but will also be responsible for researching and recommending potential software testing improvements as well as mentoring other Quality Engineers for the betterment of the entire team.
You should be an automation engineer with experience writing and implementing test scripts, preferably in a mobile development environment.
Helpful if you'd done some mobile app development with a year or two of software engineering experience.

Responsibilities
Interact closely with the entire development team making sure issues are clearly communicated and tracked.
Execute and develop test cases and procedures.
Learn the testing frameworks and recommend improvements.
Assist in the development of automated functional testing.
Be an active contributing member of a strong, agile, team.
Mentor junior QA team members.

Experience
Five years of QA experience in a test-driven software development enviornment.
Two years of automation and test script development experience.
Two years of mobile QA experience strong preferred.
Ruby, Python or other development strongly preferred.
Experience with some or all of the following: Cucumber, Calabash, Capybara, WebDriver, Selenium.
Solid understanding of software product development and design.
Agile process experience is a plus.
Leadership/mentorship experience is strongly preferred.

Education
Bachelors in Computer Science OR related technical discipline. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
