Graphics Lead 1st Shift

Years of Experience Required:
  • Would like at least 1-2 years of work experience in a related area.

MAJOR PURPOSE:
  • Graphics lead serves as liaison between and outside supplier graphic illustration personnel.

MAJOR DUTIES:
  • Description of the major duties performed in this job.
  • Ensures that different company illustrators understand and follow C&F illustrator style guide.
  • Serve as main resource for supplier illustrators and leads.
  • Monitors workload of outside suppliers at a high level, having awareness of any issues that may affect C&F service information delivery.
  • However, position would not be providing day-to-day guidance to outside suppliers on workload management.
  • Responsible for updating and creating new C&F graphic standards as needed.
  • Represents Construction and Forestry division in enterprise discussions around graphics, graphic standards, and illustrator tools/applications.
  • May become involved in future projects such as onboard displays of service information and other related projects.

  • Knowledge of graphics applications and tools. - Has an advanced understanding of graphic illustration and the tools and applications used for creating technical illustrations.

Education:
  • Formal education or training required to perform the essential functions of the job. Includes degrees, certifications, licenses and/or registration requirements.
  • Degree in a Graphic Illustration/Design discipline or equivalent experience.
  • University Degree (4 years or equivalent)

Relevant Work Experiences:
  • Type and amount of experience necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • May include specific roles and/or an understanding of a function, organization, industry or product line.
  • Project management experience.
  • Less Complex Project, consists of some or all of the following criteria: 5 or less persons on the project team;
  • 1 or 2 disciplines involved;
  • 1 or 2 facilities involved;
  • scope in dollars is less than $500,000 and is determined on budget, revenues generated, savings, etc.
  • Demonstrated team leadership and mentoring experience. 1 - 3 years
  • Internal or external industry specific experience in relevant discipline.
  • Less than 1 year
