Specific Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, IRTA Portfolio Strategy Commercial Planning (CP), this role will help project manage and execute all the work in the CP kidney domain with close guidance from the CP Kidney Domain lead.

Essential Duties and Job Functions
• Kidney Domain Strategy
o Develop and articulate insights from disease area strategy in partnership with Market Research
o Help prioritize anchor and string of pearls indications in the kidney domain in collaboration with clinical and discovery teams
o Help guide development of a white paper in support of prioritized indications, their commercial opportunity, medical unmet need and fit with vision
• SEL for DKD
o Help CP lead organize development of SEL DKD indication early strategy
o Help CP lead develop market development strategy and tactical plan
o Help CP lead execute market development tactical plan

Knowledge, Experience and Skills
• Must be BOTH strategic thinking and able to roll up sleeves and execute tactics
• Should have an understanding of the pharmaceutical marketing process, clinical development, regulatory and access environments
• An understanding of the following functions – R&D, Medical affairs, Pricing & access, Health economics/Outcomes Research, Policy, government affairs, public affairs.
• Be a team player, open to ideas and candidly provide ideas for improvement
• Experience in cross functional collaboration and gaining alignment
• Driven to keep work streams moving forward
• Helpful to have working knowledge/experience in nephrology
• Helpful to have worked at an Associate Director/ Director level in global or US marketing
• Helpful to have understanding and experience in pre-launch market development work in disease areas
• Helpful to have "leading and influencing without authority” skills.
• Prior experience in developing a market in early disease life cycle is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required (advanced degree in life sciences or M.B.A. preferred)
• 5+ years' experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
