Job Description:
The Helpdesk Technician I is the primary point of contact for all end user support issues at Client. The position requires the ability to problem-solve quickly with little supervision, provide courteous and effective customer support, and understand when to expedite issues to higher level support.

Responsibilities Percent of Time
1. Provide 1st level end user support (basic troubleshooting and problem resolution of MS Windows workstations, software, printers, network and phone issues) 60%
2. Workstation configuration (Imaging, Application Installation) 10%
3. Hardware/Software Inventory management 10%
4. Assist with ongoing IT initiatives 10%
5. Other Duties as assigned 10%

Required Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field required.
• Previous helpdesk experience preferred
• Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory required
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 2000 and above required
• Experience with Microsoft Office 2003 and above required
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and Wireless LAN technologies is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Availability for after hours or weekend work when necessary
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Good communication and organization skills
