Job Description
Client seeks a detail-oriented, highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills to support oncology research programs as an in vivo pharmacology study monitor. As part of a cross-functional team, the successful applicant will act as a project manager to lead the planning and coordination of all aspects of in vivo pharmacology experiments executed by outside vendors or academic collaborators.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:
• Independently plans and coordinates in vivo pharmacology experiments that support the initiation and/or advancement of drug candidate projects into the pipeline
• Works cross-functionally within the organization to achieve goals
• Demonstrates and applies advanced level of understanding project goals and methods
• Works with minimal supervision on projects of moderate to complex scope
• Presents research findings to senior staff
• May recommend alternatives, research new methods and techniques and proactively seek out senior personnel to discuss potential solutions to problems
• Uses excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential. The successful candidate will be able to manage more than one project at any given time, to work successfully in a cross-functional and highly collaborative team environment with members based at multiple sites to achieve project goals. Applicants should be able to troubleshoot independently, use both strategic and tactical thinking effectively, and show curiosity-driven engagement in scientific problems. Preference given to applicants with expertise implementing murine cancer model experiments, with experience in immune-oncology mouse models and downstream ex vivo analyses including cell-based assays a plus. There is also a preference for applicants with research drug discovery and target identification/validation experience in an industry setting.
