Desk side Support Administrator:
The site engineer role is to provide to install, diagnose, repair, maintain and upgrade Laptop, Desktops, AIO and Tablets across USA.

  1. End User Computing
    1. Deploy SOE Images to CS & RPC NA End User devices
    2. Identify and include workstation (WS) subnets to the SCCM boundary
    3. Copy data (Favorites, My Documents, Printers & PSTs) from legacy WS to new one or to disk/OneDrive
    4. Login to as user and ensure email, OneDrive are working per user, using DSS Deployment.Docx. These documents need to be stored centrally for audit purposes. PC's with multiple users will need to be configured as needed.
    5. Ensure that necessary Network Drives are being mapped accordingly.
    6. Modify AD Computer objects to reflect system owners.
    7. Move newly joined machines to proper Active Directory OU.
    8. Configure OneDrive for each employee and provide basic high-level training of its use (how to access, how to store, how to share).
    9. Note: Some workstations will need the installation of PCI cards and necessary Windows 10 drivers and will require testing and support of AirCard connectivity prior of shipping out.
    10. Provide necessary site hypercare support as needed following site migration.
    11. Provide HW Inventory back to Project Manager (Service Tag, Device Assigned to, Model #, Network Printer Model and information per location).
    12. Ship aged HW back to central Hub (provide tracking information to Project Manager).
    13. Assist with coordination of HW Disposal Company at Hub locations.
    14. Management of SCCM bootable USB process with dispatch and remote office (includes the creation of bootable USB work with PM to ship and receive USB back to send to another location after USB format and "loading” again).

Technical Expertise:
  • Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems and standards.
  • Ability to operate tools, components and peripheral accessories.
  • Microsoft Desktop Support Technician an advantage
  • A+ and N+ experience preferred
  • Software and Hardware Troubleshooting
  • Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10,
  • Manage Routers, switches and firewall devices with assistance
  • Microsoft Office 2016, Office 365 support

  • Bachelor's degree +.
  • 2-5 years PC hardware and OS deployment experience
  • Must have PC skills and be well versed in Microsoft Windows and Office applications
  • Physically fit to install PC's and Hardware's in the customer location.
