Duties:    
 This position primarily requires(50%) developing and implementing training business processes, proficiency matrices, learning solutions (OJT, POJT, ILT), and managing projects (20%) to ensure compliance and effective operations in support of Pharma Technical Development (PTD).  Additional responsibilities (30%) include managing & coordinating training events and record & control training information for the Learning Management System (LMS).

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development of training processes and Support to Operations
Assess current state and develop/revise in-house learning practices, business processes, and Job aids to ensure effective operations.
Develop, edit, and finalize all participant training, manuals, trainer guides, class materials, and job aids to support the transfer of learning to behavior that will lead to on-the-job performance improvements
Build evaluation instruments and methods to capture business metrics using Lean tools (DMAIC)
Identify compliance gaps, develop and implement mitigation actions to meet HA requirements
Train personnel on new learning solutions and assess training effectiveness.
Engage with subject matter experts and business leaders to develop proficiency matrices, corresponding learning solutions, and update user profiles.
Lead project teams, collaborating with customers to design, develop and deliver learning solutions, following established development processes and project schedules.
Manage a portfolio of projects, and support operations by developing roadmaps, scheduling, and monitoring activities managed by the Learning department.
 

LMS Administration :

Review submitted training records, assessments and/or controlled documents for accuracy and completion.
Oversee the edit and delimiting of courses, qualification and tasks in LMS.
Record and control training information in the LMS
Create edit and retire knowledge and paperless skills assessments, in Perception.
Manage assignment and removal of training requirements to and from learners in LMS.
Edit/link training materials and ensure availability to learners.
File and maintain training documentation for easy retrieval.
Build and/or run reports to show learner completion status or other requested information. 
Apply LMS knowledge to provide front line technical support (or escalation) for users.
Thoroughly research customer requests and questions and provide suggestions for resolution.
 

Skills:    
7 + years of experience required. 
5+ years of experience with a Master Degree in science a plus
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably development and broad understanding of global expectations of Health Authorities in the area of Pharma Development.
Knowledge of Operations, Business Process, project management, Operational excellence, Quality systems
Demonstrated ability to create learning solutions such as onboarding documents, OJT, POJT, business processes, Job aids, procedures, etc.
Knowledge of and skill with Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Innovate, Control)
SAP experience processing training records and related SAP reports.
Prior experience performing work in a Learning Management System (LMS)
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Visio and MS Project).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
High degree of demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills working with both internal and external customers.
 

Education:    
BA/BS with 7 + years of experience required. 5+ years of experience with a Master Degree in science a plus
