Job Description:
Experience with pharmaceutical transport qualification (shipping system and transit lane qualification), with a focus on temperature control/Cold Chain.

General knowledge of pharmaceutical package testing, transit lane performance qualification (PQ), technical writing (protocol/report writing and execution), project management, and computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Good oral and written communication skills are required.

Scope of Work:
This position is part of the GLS (Global Logistics Services) Temperature Control Team based in New Brunswick, NJ (where the position is based). Six Sigma is a plus. Individual will be working with cross functional stakeholders-global, internal/external partners.

Logistics and packaging/validation/technical background preferred (e.g. Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other technical background and/or experience). Minimal or no travel expected.

Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the leadership and development of transportation route qualification documentation (e.g. protocol/report technical writing) and management of processes and technologies used in the transportation of temperature controlled materials and products.
• Will actively conduct all activities associated with tier I distribution lane qualification requirements such as FMEA lane analysis reviews, prepare qualification protocol documents; manage logistics supplier SOP develop and the change control completion process.
• As necessary will actively support activities associated with tier II distribution lane qualification requirements
• Candidate must have strong skills in building and maintaining successful networks and relationships with key leaders across a single functional area to ensure designated lane and routing activities are fully aligned, supported and successfully delivered.
• Organizes and presents ideas in a convincing and compelling manner.
• Persuades and influences others with effective verbal and written communication.
• Understands the value of process-centric approach to transportation as it relates to tier I and II distribution temperature control capabilities development and execution.
• Command of project management techniques and tools.
• Drive a cross functional global team engaged in temperature control transportation.
• Support Change Control activities
• Support logistics incident investigation/root cause/CAPA.
