Job Description : (additional comment – experience in Autosys upgrade end-to-end)

An Autosys administrator& Scheduler is responsible for Scheduling and Maintaining the admin activities, Scheduling activities including troubleshooting skills for a HCL Client organization.
Autosys L3 Skills &Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge on UNIX/LINUX & Windows platform is must.
  • Knowledge on Database – Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase etc is must.
  • Resource should have good knowledge on Autosys R11.3 + along with WCC & EEM, iDash
  • Expert on AUTOSYS admin related tasks - FAILOVER methods and approaches, config file, autosys logs etc.
  • Expert on WCC – Managing WCC users / views/ reports.
  • Expert on EEM – Managing EEM users, policies, LDAP, AD integration
  • Good knowledge on Idash – how to use, troubleshooting steps on idash not working.
  • Knowledge on SAP, PPlsoft, informatica plugins – how to install / deinstall / configure / troubleshoot.
  • Should have experience on resolving & trouble shooting issues related to Job scheduling error, WCC/EEM issues, Autosys Agent Issues.
  • Should be able to install autosys, incremental patches, upgrades, autosys agents.
  • Should have good knowledge on architectural flow of Autosys, WCC & EEM.
  • Should have good knowledge on installing WCC, configuring WCC wrt AUTosys & EEM.
  • Should have knowledge on setting up cross platform instance, cross dependency, Cluster environment etc will be added advantage.
  • Good Knowledge on Autosys Commands
  • Integration experience with SOI, NIMSOFT, Snow

Scripting Skills &Responsibilities
  • Knowledge and experience on various kernels and good in vi / text editor.
  • Knowledge and experience on perl and other scripting languages.
  • Knowledge and experience on handling Windows envt - scripting / commands.
  • Good to have knowledge on creating, reading, modifying scripts running in existing environment and can automate manual tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve script related issues.
  • Creating or maintaining scripts to perform health checkups, housekeeping, maintenance activities etc.
