 Your Role
  • Participate in activities related to facility planning
  • Evaluate the process and complete studies to ensure layout is optimized
  • Implement LEAN manufacturing methodologies and tools
  • Complete analysis of process:
    • Process Flow
    • Line Balancing 
    • Time Studies
  • Participate in costing and sourcing exercises related to capital tooling and equipment selection
  • Engage in and develop continuous improvement initiatives and projects
  • Execute the set-up and improvement of the production lines to maximize efficiency and minimize cost impact
Your Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or relevant field of study
  • Two or more years of experience in a similar manufacturing engineering role
  • Proficiency with evaluation and analysis tools and processes related to fabrication/manfucaturing/production proccess implementation/improvement
  • Proficiency with FlexSim tool for Discrete Event Simulation
  • Familiar with manufacturing operations: machines, tooling, electrical systems
  • Familiar with LEAN manufacturing tools & methodology: Six Sigma, 5S
  • Familiar with activities related to production optimization: Process Flow, Line Balancing, Time Studies
