 Primary Skills:
(a) Responsible for test planning and coordination of programs that have multiple applications /interfaces that cross towers
(b) Represents the test team, acts as advocate for quality, plans and manages test execution and resources, and resolve issues that impede the test effort
(c) Communicates status of all testing and associated defects prior to deployment both technically and functionally
(d) Proactively mitigate risks before issues arise
(e) Takes on efforts at the release level
(f) Identify projects at risk and make recommendation for a path forward
(g) Responsible for tracking and oversight of internal and external deliverables from other teams
(h) Plan, monitor, and control testing execution activities and tasks for all Initiatives and Features.
(i) Work with Release Architect to confirm Release scope, test planning & execution timelines, environment strategy and Initiative level dependencies.
(j) Work with assigned Quality Architects to confirm Feature level complexity, estimates & dependencies.
(k) Define test execution entrance and exit criteria.
(l) Work with leadership team to ensure appropriate Quality Engineer staffing levels based on Initiative and Feature complexity/estimates.
(m) Monitor resource utilization throughout the release and proactively identify needs.
(n) Facilitate conversations between Quality Engineers and outside teams to help clarify questions/concerns and address issues/gaps.
(o) Ensure that all completed test cases are captured in TDP.
(p) Work with TDP admin to ensure that TDP folder structure is set up correctly to align with the lab, timeline and scope strategy and to enable reporting
(q) Monitor and report out on daily test execution activities leveraging TDP
(r) Facilitate daily status calls with stakeholders to review test status and defects.
(s) Work with Quality Engineers and Testers to ensure that test execution results and defect details are captured correctly in TDP.
(t) Ensure Quality Engineers transition knowledge of test cases/ test automation to PVT team.
(u) Review prioritized backlog of Test Use Cases to ensure on time automation delivery.
(v) Provide end of Release Reporting.
(w) Involvement with the OpenSource Communities (OpenStack) to provide contributions into the community
