Job Summary

The E-Commerce Systems Analyst will play a key role in the full software development lifecycle of enhancing the current Health & Safety (PHSS) eCom platform. The E-Commerce Systems Analyst will work directly along side the business product manager across all aspects of the development process, playing a key role in requirements and discovery through UAT and launch. The systems analyst will also assist the Technical Manager in engaging with the dev team in implementing, validating and certifying the successful implementation of the requirements.

  • Participates in and documents sessions with the business to finalize functional and non-functional requirements
  • Works with the Product Manager to document and detail final acceptance criteria based on UX designs as well as functional and non-functional requirements
  • Analyze requirements against existing eCom platform to execute gap analysis
  • Work with the technical team to elucidate the requirements in a techno-functional manner
  • Finalize all documentation when required
  • Assist Product Manager in the engagement and support of development teams by providing clarifications on requirements and design, escalating as needed
  • Communicates openly, effectively and often with all members on the business and IT teams to ensure an effective implementation
  • Support UAT and business acceptance during each development sprint and upon project completion
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics or Economics.
  • 3-5 years of previous experience as a Systems Analyst on a major Cloud-based E-Commerce implementation projects. Bonus – Demandware (now Salesforce Commerce Cloud) experience
  • Familiarity with Agile product development and comfortable interacting with technical teams
  • Ability to actively engage and if needed lead requirements sessions
  • Capture and document both functional and non-functional requirements, process models and business rules for E-Commerce solutions from multiple sources
  • Ability to work cross-functionality across a variety of different internal and external groups
  • Knowledge of relational databases, expert knowledge of Microsoft Access (SQL a plus)
  • Data management skills with knowledge of Excel (v lookups and pivot tables/charts a must)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent group presentation skills.
  • Ability to learn and execute quickly, in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel per Red Cross Travel Guidelines, 10%-15% of the time.
