Cloud Infra Recommended Skills:

12 years of working experience in a Service Operations Team.
5 year of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Pivotal Cloud Foundry including administration, deployment, troubleshooting and scripting of tasks.
Excellent troubleshooting skills on application issues on cloud.
Experience in Orchestration/Configuration Management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
Have experience in managing containers like (Docker) and container orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes or salt stack.
Amazon Web Services
Experience in one or more scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Ruby, Python or Powershell)
Experience managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications
Expertise in using centralized logging systems ( Splunk, Appd).
Expertise with infrastructure monitoring systems such as Splunk, Appd, Icinga, Grafana, AWS Cloudwatch
Experience with load balancing technologies, specifically HAProxy.
Have excellent analytical & problem solving skills. Have the ability to innovate and be creative. Solve problems and have the tenacity to drive issues to conclusion.

Cloud Infra Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Lead the design of infrastructure and platforms that leverage Cloud/Virtualization and hybrid environments.
Work with application deployment and support engineers and developers to understand their infrastructure needs and put them into action.
Provide mentorship and technical direction to team-members and evangelize practices and methodologies.
Design metrics, monitors and alerting to ensure operational excellence.
Identify opportunities to automate processes and help to implement potential solutions.
Provide scalable engineering and supportability deliverables, resulting in products and services with more efficiency, lower risk, and reduced customer impact.
Identify security and performance issues at multiple layers of deployment, from hardware, operating environment, network and application; Provide technical expertise in identifying issues that affect availability and quality across the software product portfolio.
