•Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
•Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
•Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
•Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
•Filter and "clean” data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
•Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
•Locate and define new process improvement opportunities


•Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
•Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
•Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
•Bachelors in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics

•Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
•4+ years working experience as a Data Architect
•Expertise in Business analysis, systems analysis, process improvement on finance systems.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes including General Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable, reconciliation.
• Strong database design and development skills.
• Exposure in a Big data environment is desired

•Activity around data quality and process improvement that improve profits and revenues.
•Gathering operational and business requirements to curb revenue leakage
•Being a communication link and point of contact between IT and finance when working on system/data changes improving revenue
•The analysis, design and implementation of revenue assurance controls.
•Replicate data audit KPIs to identify revenue and cost fallouts and implement a repeatable process for reporting
