 Job Title              : Manufacturing Engineer- Plant Transfer- Line Layout- Six Sigma
Location              : Columbia, SC
Strong knowledge in Six Sigma, Manufacturing process, plant set up and line transfer activities. .
• Work and support/lead the team in Columbia SC for the plant set up and transfer activity.
• Project Plan creation, discussion with CFT teams.
• Create Process Flow and documentation before transfer process
• Perform time studies, ergonomic/safety assessments, process flow analysis, Layout and 3D Factory, Throughput Simulation, line balancing, and productivity evaluations for all production areas and implement identified improvements
• Perform financial analysis for capital equipment purchases, product cost reduction projects, and quality initiatives, and provide recommendations. Manage plant cost reduction tracking program.
• Utilize lean, six sigma, 5S, team building, effective communication, and project management skills to perform essential job functions and develop effective actions plans.
• Collaborate with Tooling and Manufacturing Engineers to develop flexible manufacturing cell designs
• Develop and optimize factory layout for assembly equipment
• Frequent (verbal and written) communications; able to present to peers and management on deliverables status
• Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering experience preferable.
• Experience in Medical Device highly desirable.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Participates in supplier selection process and specification reviews
•Experience with data analysis/statistical  such as MiniTab or equivalent 
•Green/Black belt preffered
* Coordinate with Offshore and CFT teams
