.NET Production Support Specialist – Level 4

Job Description:
This individual will be part of a global 24X7 support team which provides seamless, technical assistance for critical application. The role provides technical expertise for high-severity incidents across the platform and deployments
Representative activities:
  • Manage and resolve incidents escalated by L3 team based on severity and complexity
  • Identify incidents to escalate to 3rd party vendors; coordinate with vendors for product support / resolution ensure effective, SLA-compliant incident management
  • Preparation of Deployment instructions and coordinate Application Deployment
  • As necessary, participate in outage resolution calls as escalated on a 24X7 basis
  • Perform and recommend root-cause analysis for escalated issues
  • Individuals must effectively analyse incidents and provide timely solutions, while balancing multiple incident reports when required.
  • Individual needs to be experienced and comfortable with investigating sharing analysis and recommending resolutions in a fast pace support environment.
Responsibilities include:
  • Building technical expertise in the application and solve high-severity incidents within technical SLAs and to eliminate customer impact
  • Proactively managing, researching root cause of incidents and identifying trends to optimize future incident responses
  • Monitoring performance metrics and SLA adherence for compliance
  • Backing-up designated team members and Global Technical Support Leads
Qualifications: Successful candidates will have a track record in customer support for critical applications within SLAs.
  • 4 to 7 years of production support experience in handling applications on .Net & SQL Server
  • Excellent Communication skills with customers and partners
  • Skill and experience in root cause analysis for diverse platform
  • Experience with Monitoring Tools
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with HCI
  • Experience in monitoring tools like AppD, HPOV, SCOM, synthetic transactions (NCC)
  • Experience working with Azure PaaS/SaaS solutions
