 • Job Description:
Defines and implements quality assurance process and implementation procedures for front end and back-end applications.  Provides technical and staff leadership and sets standards for the development, documentation, and implementation of test plans and test cases.  Directs the development and implementation of test automation scripts and participates in functional walkthroughs.
Skill Set:
  •  6 to 7 years of hands-on Experience of UI and webservices automation using  Selenium
    • Web driver, API , TestNG with Maven
    • web services testing 
    • Proficient in Java and any other programming/scripting languages
    • Hands-on experience in testing and building automation suites for complex Web Based Applications.
    • Experience with Agile Development.
    • Experience in configuring and managing CI/CD and Build tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins

Planning Responsibilities: Work with QA technical leadership at Ancestry to define and implement quality assurance process and implementation procedures. Create reference build a pipeline that includes all QA steps including fully automated unit tests, SonarQube static analysis, integrations tests, and acceptance tests. Implement automated continuous monitoring system to check acceptance tests against all environments on a regular basis.
Development Responsibilities: Educate and ensure QA engineers are following approved processes, procedures, and standards. Revise standards and procedures as necessary.
  • Defines Quality Engineering process
  • Prepares Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases and executes test cases
  • Develops Test framework and Test scripts
  • Execution of Test suites, Generating code coverage
  • Logging and tracking defects.
  • Retesting defects.
  • Define and maintain QE Metrics
  • Setup and maintain CI pipelines
  • Setup Test coverage tool in CI pipeline.
  • Performing basic nonfunctional testing.
  • Participating in scrum ceremonies and demos
