 Description:                       
 
As a *QA Engineer* , utilize knowledge of QA best practices to plan, design, and craft and execute test solutions for various front and back end banking systems. Formulate testing strategies for a complex integrated environment and utilize collaborative skills to partner with other disciplines, business users and vendors to bring high quality solutions to successful implementation.
 
 
*  Create/ maintain automated suite of test scripts.
*  Collaborate with other disciplines to craft an overall testing solution.
*  Design, create and execute test scripts, for testing of medium to complex scenarios including test data/environment setup.
*  Track and report on test status and follow up on active issues until closure.
*  Quickly develop an understanding of the technical details of the applications / systems being tested and document processes for future testing efforts.
*  Support Test environments during testing phases. Use SQL knowledge to setup correct conditions for the scenarios under test.
*  Use exiting QA and technical knowledge to evaluate current processes, propose updates and improve testing for all areas.
*  May provide guidance to other QA engineers in TCF test automation framework and best practices.
 
*Qualifications*
 
Education :
 
*  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical field or equivalent work experience
Preferred:
 
*  3-5 years of QA / testing experience
*  Solid understanding of the QA role, testing principles and how QA fits into the Software Delivery Lifecycle
*  Experience with Automation testing tools (e.g. LeanFT/UFT, Selenium, Java etc.)
*  Experience and comfort with test case management/defect tools (ALM, TFS, QA Complete etc.)
*  Detail oriented with the ability to work and guide others during time constraints to meet deadlines
*  Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams and groups
*  Collaborate as part of the scrum team in grooming user stories and development of acceptance criteria for the user stories
*  Demonstrated strong technical and analytical skills
*  Strong written and verbal communication skills
*  Strong time management skills, ability to work well in a diverse environment
*  Desire to research, adapt and implement new testing methods and keep track of industry trends
