Role of Project Engineer for Enterprise Content Management
Responsibilities:
  • The PE is expected to work under the guidance of the EA or Solution Architect assigned to ECM project.
  • Provide a thorough assessment of the proposed designs
  • Ensure standards and best practices are upheld.
  • PE is expected to coordinate with other PEs and PMs to achieve the targeted design and objectives.
  • Identification, creation, review and content tailoring:
    • System Requirement Document (SRD),
    • Solution Architecture Document (SAD),
    • Technical Document Specification (TDS),
    • Functional Document Specification (FDS) and
    • Environment Design Specification (EDS)
  • Project methodology technical deliverables planning and pattern selection:
    • Project releases and iterations
    • Project reviews (project personnel only)
    • Technical reviews (project personnel + external SMEs)

Required (Minimum)
  • Minimum 10 years of IT technical experience
  • Minimum 8 years of Architecture experience
  • Minimum 2 years of DevOps experience
  • Minimum 8 years of design and development experience with one or more of the following: .NET, JEE, C#, XSLT, JavaScript, SQL
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Content Management and Digital Asset Management solutions (experience with OpenText TeamSite/MediaBin, BloomReach Hippo, StyleLabs, Adobe AEM will be preferred)
  • At least 1 major project or minimum 1 year of experience using following technologies
  • PowerApps
  • SharePoint
  • Custom APIs
  • Well versed with System Engineering practices
  • Good understanding of system requirement articulation best practices
  • Experience in design modeling using UML 2.0
  • Experience in documenting solution architectures and design
  • Experience in architecting scalable and high-performance solutions
  • Good understanding of all the tiers of an n-tier architecture
