Technical expert in ServiceNow with a minimum 5 years working experience as Developer/ Architect and 8 years overall in IT.
Bachelor's degree is highly desired. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
Database design/architecture
Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist
Certified ServiceNow System Administrator
Formal ServiceNow training in areas such as:
Advanced System Administration
System Implementation Specialist
Performance Analytics
ServiceNow Scripting
ServiceNow Orchestration
ServiceNow Discovery
ITIL V3 Foundations Certification
Agile/SCRUM Training/Certification
Experience with implementing multiple ServiceNow Service Portals across different domains in a large enterprise
Experience implementing ServiceNow modules: Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Catalog Management, Reporting & Analytics, and Change Management.
Understanding of ITIL v3 and its components.
Expertise in ServiceNow scripting including JavaScript, AngularJS, Bootstrap, JQuery
Relational database expertise in relation to an enterprise software system (Oracle, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, etc.)
Expertise in Web technologies (Web Services – SOAP/REST, XML, HTML, CSS, HTTP, etc)

Roles & Responsibilities
The Architect – ServiceNow, will use his/her depth of experience to act as a thought leader regarding ServiceNow. The incumbent will assure delivery of successful deployments of ServiceNow and be at the forefront of new features and capabilities of the ServiceNow suite of enterprise applications.
Lead the design, development, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise Service Management solutions using ServiceNow. Accountable for technical solutions proposed/implemented and all changes pushed to production environment.
Lead the design of a global configuration management database (CMDB) in ServiceNow.
Deliver passionate, persuasive, strategic, and technically competent ServiceNow expertise to our global user and customer base.
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on ServiceNow and advise customers/users on workflow design.
Manage workload of development team. Provide functional guidance in their day-to-day activities. Advise them on following best practices and industry standards.
Development effort includes (but not limited to) enhancements, customized portal web pages, portal consolidation, automated workflow solutions, advanced scripting of business rules, UI policies, client scripts, 3rd party software integrations, bi-directional API-based solutions etc.
Lead administration of ServiceNow instances (environment sync, upgrades, quarterly patches etc.).
Stay current with capabilities of ServiceNow platform and be proactive about knowledge sharing.
Assist in defining service management strategy for the enterprise.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of professional experience in design and development in ServiceNow.
Certified ServiceNow Application Developer.
System integration experience using web services and other web based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP.
Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities.
A fundamental knowledge of ITSM and ITIL.
