Job Description
 
Expertise Required:
  • The candidate should have demonstrated ability to setup Oracle R12 WIP, BOM, QUA, CST, INV modules and also provide module specific as well as cross- module solutions in these areas.
  • The candidate should have 12 years of experience in implementing Oracle EBS R12.x. Also should have done at least two implementations of Oracle Apps Manufacturing Modules.
  • Candidate should be able to understand the production and manufacturing related requirements of customers and translate those into solutions in Oracle.
  • The candidate should be familiar with shop floor processes such as Production Documents, Manufacturing Routings, Assembly and Subassembly Manufacturing, Outside Operations, Rework Management, Scrap Management, Production Overhead allocation and Costing Controls.
  • The candidate should be aware of how the manufacturing modules are integrated with other modules in Oracle EBS R12. (For example Order Management and WIP and Costing with WIP and BOM)
  • The candidate should have the knowledge and experience in Oracle Inventory Integration with third party PLM applications. Also should be aware of how this interface is designed, developed, tested and deployed.
  • The candidate should have good knowledge and experience in Item Life cycle management in Oracle Inventory.
  • The candidate should be able to identify the gaps in standard Oracle and come out with simple and effective solutions with minimal customizations.
  • The candidate should be well versed in Master Data Conversion & Open Transactions. (Master Data: Items, Item Categories, Onhand, Item Costs, BOM and Routing & Open Transactions: Open WIP Jobs)
  • The candidate should have experience in preparing the key implementation documents viz, Setup Documents (BR100), Functional Test Scripts (TE40), Conversion Spec (CV40) and Functional Design (MD50) as per Oracle AIM standards.
  • Experience in working on Onsite – Offshore model would be preferable
  • Effective communication and solution presentation skills. Also able to convince customer to look for long term gains by adopting the standard oracle solutions
