Service Desk DevOps Engineer

Required Skills:
Prior experience working a service desk as part of a team with mature best practice is required.
  • Cloud DevOps experience of at least three (3) years; specifically, AWS
  • CI/CD Pipeline experience a must – On the CI side, hand on experience in Jenkins, but experience with GitLab CI, Buildbot, Drone & Concourse.
  • On the CD side - Experience with Docker, Mesos and Marathon.
  • Some knowledge/experience with microservices and use of containers for deployment.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka and Zookeeper a plus.
  • Application level monitoring – Tooling like SPLUNK (actually logging), ELK, Graphite and AppDynamics
  • Infrastructure Monitoring – Tooling like Grafana, Prometheus and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with Jira and some sort of helpdesk tooling (Remedy, PIER, ServiceNow)
  • Nice to have some experience with PagerDuty (or other notification/escalation tooling) –
  • Knowledge of ITIL (IT Service Management) – incident management, problem management, release management.
An AWS DevOps Engineer certification is a plus
