Seeking an OCM practitioner, local to Calgary, to fill a client-facing role (daily on-site presence required).  The successful candidate will provide Organizational Change Management support for a 12-month project centered on IT Infrastructure.  In-scope activities include data center migration, preparation of a hybrid cloud environment, and migrating applications to the hybrid cloud.  The OCM Consultant will play a key role in enabling a technical project to meet objectives on time and on budget by focusing on the people side of an IT transition and transformation within an accelerated timeline.  During this project, there will be a heavy emphasis in Change Impact Analyses, Stakeholder Management, and Communications; there will be less emphasis on training.  This is a non-technical role for an Organizational Change Management practitioner, not an IT Change Management professional.
Responsibilities:  In collaboration with and under the direction of an engagement lead, design, develop, and implement a holistic change management strategy and plan that maximizes adoption and minimize resistance.  Conduct change impact analysis, change readiness assessments, and stakeholder management analysis.  Identify and define additional deliverables related to the OCM effort.  Liaise with client management and with the technical delivery team.  Tailor our structured OCM methodology to the project, and lead the effort to complete change activities.  Lead / support communications efforts on a structured cadence.  Provide input to and support training requirements and activities.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, IT, Information Systems, Organizational Change Management, or related field (required)
Minimum of two years' experience leading organizational change management initiatives (required)
Minimum of two years' experience in / exposure to IT and IT Infrastructure environments (required)
Minimum of two years' experience developing communications or training (ideal)
Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft® Project ® (ideal)
Excellent communication / presentation / active listening skills (required)
Proven success in multicultural work environments (required)
Experience and knowledge of OCM principles, methodologies, and tools (required)
Organizational Change Management certification (ideal)
Ability to multitask and remain flexible in shifting work focus as required (ideal)
